12-fold IEC-C13 switched PDU with GSM connectivity to increase operational reliability in IT networks
Expert Power Control 8042 Series enables switching and metering of electrical appliances through TCP/IP network, serial interface or mobile device app. Thanks to GSM connectivity, it is also possible to control and monitor the connected consumers out-of-band, i.e. via a redundant communication channel. The Series consists of two versions with 12 load outlets on the rear panel:
The Power Ports are individually switchable through web interface, serial interface, SNMP or a button directly on the device. Moreover SNMPv3, SSL, IPv6, Telnet, Radius and Modbus TCP support are incorporated. The integrated GSM module enables control and alarming via SMS, voice call and datacall. An alarm center can be informed by an SMS trap. The Expert Power Control 8042 disposes of energy and residual current measurement type A. The latter enables preventive maintenance measures to be taken thanks to automatic warning messages in case of residual currents.
