The UNICLASS AB-04PRO is a 4-port keyboard/mouse switcher based on our latest Border Switch and True Transparent USB (TTU) emulation technology.
The Border Switch technology makes it possible to move the mouse pointer from the monitor of a PC seamlessly to the monitor of the adjacent PC, while simultaneously switching mouse and keyboard control between the two PCs. Thus, four separate desktops connect to a virtually advanced desktop. At the same time, the TTU technology allows the ultimate compatibility with virtually all keyboards and mice. In addition, the AB-04PRO supports PC, Mac and Linux.
Note on the function:
The automatic switching with the mouse by leaving the screen (in the direction of the screen of the next computer) works without installing a software.
With this KM switch, only one monitor per computer may and must be present.

Two arrangement options of the four monitors are possible.
There can be four monitors next to each other or two monitors at the top and two monitors at the bottom.
To tell the KM switch in which arrangement the monitors are set up, simply type the hotkey 2 x rollers + F2 (for the 2x2 arrangement) and back 2 x rollers + F1 (all next to each other).
No matter which of the two variants you choose; simply move the mouse cursor from one monitor to the adjacent monitor and switch to it without interruption and completely automatically.
Here again the prerequisites for such a KM switch to work correctly:
a) Each PC needs "a" own monitor (not a share).
b) Even "one".
c) A "simple" keyboard/mouse, since they must be able to have the HID (standard keyboard/mouse) protocol so that the switch can read along.
d) 100% zoom factor, so that the co-reading position of the mouse cursor also corresponds to the one on the screen.
Further explanations:
The AB-04PRO requires “NONE“ Network connection and also enables”NONE” Data exchange between computers.
The monitor limit is automatically recognized even when using different monitor sizes and monitor resolutions.
If the mouse pointer leaves the image to another PC, the switch automatically gets the switching command.
This works so quickly and unnoticed that you almost think you work with a PC that runs in the extended desktop mode; only that you can not move the windows via the monitors / computers etc.
For this to work, the keyboard and mouse must support the standard keyboard/mouse protocol (HID) and the properties of the display must be set at 100% (without scaling).

Not suitable for Bluetooth, UNIFYING and gaming keyboard/mouse that are not HID compliant.
Not suitable for USB devices (except USB keyboard/mouse).
