The AMI-302M is a 2-port Dual-monitor HDMI 2.0 KVM Switch, offering USB 3.0/Dual-HDMI video/Audio&Mic. console connectors. Users can effortlessly access two HDMI-enabled computers using either of the PC1/PC2 pushbuttons on its front panel or an optional wired QuickSwitch^TM button connected to its REMOTE connector.
This allows you to use a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, two 4K UHD monitors, a speaker set, and a microphone on a console for accessing either of the two HDMI-enabled computers. For intuitive and fast switching between two computers, you can not only press the PC1/PC2 pushbuttons or the optional wired QuickSwitch^TM button but also input their corresponding keyboard hotkeys. This dual-monitor HDMI 2.0 KVM switch supports a video resolution of 3840 x 2160@60Hz, ensuring optimal display quality to meet your specific requirements.




This 2x2 HDMI 2.0 KVM switch functions in two modes: Single-port Switching Mode, consisting of two states, and Hybrid-port Switching Mode, consisting of four states. The Single-port Switching Mode operates as a traditional KVM switch for dualmonitor PCs, where the secondary (extended) video is associated with the primary (main) video. In contrast, the Hybrid-port Switching Mode introduces an advanced PC-port switching feature, allowing independent switching of the primary and/or secondary video sources from different connected PCs. This mode enables the simultaneous display of these sources on the two console monitors, providing greater flexibility and customization in managing your display configurations.

The AMI-302M console facilitates the independent display of primary and secondary video sources from connected PCs on its two monitors. It incorporates two sets of Secondary-video Focus Operations: in States 1, 3, and 5, the primary video source of the PC 1 remains unchanged, while the secondary video source varies; in States 2, 4, and 6, the primary video source of the PC 2 remains unchanged, while the secondary video source varies. The console provides users with numerous preset keyboard hotkeys, enabling them to flexibly manage the resources of two PCs in any of these six States according to their needs and maximize productivity.
A prevalent concern with other comparable products in the market involves monitor hot-plug detection during PC-port switching, particularly in scenarios where two monitors display different PC resource contents. Our proprietary ASIC solution features the EDID Emulation function, ensuring continuous provision of the EDID signal without interruption during PC-port switching in States 1, 2, 5, and 6. Consequently, users no longer need to contend with issues such as shifted application windows or abnormal display resolutions after switching the PC-port.

Due to Mac Keyboard or Logitech Keyboard without Scroll key, do user have to change the hotkey Preceding Sequence from default “Scroll” to others(<ScrLk>, <CapsLk>, <Esc>, <F12>, <NumLk>)
Pls long press “button 2” for 5 sec. then select one of 5 keys (sorry this feature didn’t list in Hotkey table of QIG)
Or user can use IR remote to select state 5&6 for hybrid mode…

Configuration Diagram
The AMI-302M unit is designed with two operation modes: Single-port Switching Mode including States 1 and 2 and Hybrid-port Switching Mode including States 3, 4, 5, and 6.
The State 1 of Single-port Switching Mode is the factory default state. The States 1, 2, 5, and 6 support EDID Emulation. However, States 3 and 4 don't support EDID Emulation, as the Hot-plug Detection (HPD) will responsively revoke it.
