DisplayPort 1.4 cables are used in the high-end range.
They support a bandwidth of up to 32.4 Gbit/s and a resolution of up to 8K.
Thanks to the high bandwidth, higher color depths and refresh rates can now be achieved.
This cable supports a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps which can correspond to a resolution of 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, 5120 x 2880 at 120 Hz or 3840 x 2160 at 240 Hz and a color sampling of 4:2:0.  At 4K, color sampling in the 4:4:4 format is possible.
Object-based audio formats can now also be sent via the DisplayPort cable. 
With the DisplayPort cable you can connect your notebooks and PCs to your TV, video projector or monitor.
The cable supports all important transmission standards and has been tested by an authorized test laboratory according to DisplayPort version 1.4.
