Technical Notes:
a) For image transfer from the USB-C, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 or upwards is required for each notebook. Only this supports the necessary DP-Alt mode and works with USB-C docking stations.
b) No EDID monitor pretense = Content jumps on the monitor of the notebook during the switching process, if this is opened. Only on Windows 11 the content (remember monitor positions) jump back again when switching back.
c) The monitors are controlled with up to 60 Hz via the notebook.
Attention:
1) Thunderbolt (only from TB4) on PC can display max. 1x 4K and 1x 1080p.
2) Thunderbolt on Mac can only display the identical image 1x 4K or multiple times.

Connection steps:
Step 1. Connect a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable from the first USB-C laptop to the PC1-USB-C port on the 2-port MST USB-C docking KVM.
Step 2. Plug the original power cord of the laptop into the socket and then into the “PC1--PD” connection on the KVM switch for 3 monitors and 2 laptops.
Step 3. Connect a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable from the second USB-C laptop to the PC2-USB-C port on the USB-C-KVM for 2 laptops.
Step 4. Plug the original power cord of the laptop into the “PC2--PD” connection on the KVM switch for 3 monitors.
Step 5. Connect the 3 monitors to the corresponding ports of the KVM switch for 3 monitors and 2 laptops (OUT A, OUT B, OUT C).
Step 6. Connect the keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices to the four 10-Gbit/s ports of the 10-Gbit/s USB-C-KVM switch.
Step 7. Plug in the wired remote control to switch between the two computers.
Step 8: Connect the included DC 12V/1A power cord to power the USB-C Docking-2-Computer 3-Monitor KVM externally.
Important note: To properly charge your laptop, please use the original laptop charging adapter or a 100W laptop charging adapter and connect the power cord from the outlet to the “PD” port of the KVM switch. Never plug the charging cable directly into the power connector of the laptop.
